RESUMO

 Os conflitos internacionais há muito permeiam o cenário mundial. Sempre estiveram presentes na nossa história, desde a sociedade internacional clássica (1648 – 1948) até a atualidade, onde a globalização conferiu e ainda vem conferindo contornos muito mais complexos às relações internacionais. Nesse sentido, o presente artigo faz uma breve análise dos conflitos internacionais e do ideal da paz, mormente no que se refere ao princípio da não violência e à paz pelo direito. Para tanto, seleciona as ideias dos principais estudiosos da área, a exemplo de Hans Kelsen, Norberto Bobbio, Immanuel Kant, Johan Galtung e Jean-Marie Muller. Objetiva-se demonstrar que o conflito não só faz parte da natureza humana, como também contribui para o desenvolvimento social das nações e para a formação da personalidade dos indivíduos, razão porque a busca pela paz não deve se pautar na mera abolição dos empasses. O estudo aborda a possibilidade e importância de se resolverem os conflitos da sociedade internacional por meio da paz, seja por meio do princípio da não violência, seja por meio do direito. Para elaboração da pesquisa, utiliza-se basicamente coleta de dados em fontes bibliográficas disponíveis em meios físicos e na rede mundial de computadores.

ABSTRACT

 International conflicts have long permeated the global scenario. Always been present in our history, since classical international society (1648 - 1948) until today, where globalization has given and is still giving much more complex outlines to international relations. In that sense, this paper makes a brief analysis of international conflicts and the ideal of peace, especially as regards on the principle of non-violence and peace by law. For this, selects the ideas of the leading scholars in the field, like Hans Kelsen, Norberto Bobbio, Immanuel Kant, Johan Galtung and Jean-Marie Muller. The objective is to demonstrate that the conflict is not only part of human nature, but also contributes to the social development of nations and the formation of the personality of individuals, which is why the search for peace must not be based on mere abolition of impasses. The study approaches the possibility and importance of resolving conflicts of international society through peace or through the principle of non-violence, either by law. In order to elaborate this research, it is used primarily data collection in bibliographic sources available on physical media and the worldwide computer network.
