Abstract

The main objective of this article is to identify the importance and influences exerted by the main schools of procedural law existing in Brazil, where it sought to present the thoughts of these schools, and their members, cores or hundreds of studies of civil procedural law in the country ( Schools of Procedural Law or trends) in particular the Recife School, the Paulista School of Procedural Law, the Southern School of Procedural Law (School of Alternative Law, Critical School of Process and School of Procedural Law of Rio Grande do Sul) and the Escola Mineira de Process, starting from the idea that the proceduralists and members of these Schools (or tendencies, as said) have contributed to forging and building what exists today in the dogmatics of civil procedural law in the country, especially with regard to the laws procedural codes (new code of civil procedure), although there is a strong connotation of ideological and non-theoretical content, in some cases. As for the research methodology, the exploratory research was chosen, whose chosen method was the indirect documentation, especially the bibliographic research.
